I think that you are overestimating the amount of thinking that went on. There appears to have been relatively little.

I think the design was more for the 110, where the air had to be sent to the rear seats, and they figured the front occupants had the adjustable circular vents. -- 2010 Defender Puma 90 + BAS remap + Alive IC + Slickshift + Ashcroft ATB rear 2015 Range Rover Sport V8 Supercharged ![]() ![]() Defender Puma Workshop Manual: https://bit.ly/2zZ1en9 Discovery 4 Workshop Manual: https://bit.ly/2zXrtKO Range Rover/Sport L320/L322/L494 Workshop Manual: https://bit.ly/2zc58JQ |

I found the right distribution of air between windscreen, footwell and centre, plus there are two small smartphone holders in the centre vents. One actually holds the iPhone, the other a small notepad (paper), acting as deflectors (socks would not be approved by her

Defender Upgrades do a single din with top vents that move up and down, available in red or white

Check your heater cable exterior sheath isn't slipping where it clamps onto the valve in the engine bay - mine has been doing the same, but sorted with a small cable tie / tiewrap added to stop the slippage having made sure valve was in full closed position. super easy fix.... |
