Transfer Case Prop bolt removal
Is there a trick to getting the bolts out of the flange on the transfer case were it bolts to the propshaft? It appears in order to replace the bolts on the flange of the transfer case for the prop, one has to remove the flange and circlip. Or is it not worth it, and just replace the nyloc nuts using the existing bolts? Thanks John

The trick is to remove the flange and circlip!

If the bolts are in good order they can be reused indefinitely. Although ideally the stiff nuts should not be reused, provided that they are still stiff they can. You should get at least a couple of removals from them.

Thanks for the reply. Yes the bolts are in good shape. I have bought a kit, so will just use the new nuts. Thumbs Up
