hi is your water flowing in your radiator expansion tank worth a look iv seen thermostats put in upside down . check the finials is clean in you radiator too .

Have you a code reader to obtain the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) that are triggering the limp mode ?
Also, on the 2.2 you have a coolant temperature sensor, so worth checking that and it’s wiring are ok. See https://www.defender2.net/forum/post390785.html second post down has a diagram on location. |
