I find the fog light illumination when turning does provide that bit extra illumination to the side in which I am turning.
As AndrewS mentions, it illuminates the ground which can be tricky with kerbs/low posts/ditches. The main beams (which are poor IMHO) are not adaptive in the sense they do not turn when you turn the steering wheel (not referring to the adaptive function for high beams in the Matrix LED type) The stereo only remaining on for a few minutes when the ignition is off is very annoying. Modern cars and the power they consume I guess..... 22MY Defender 110 D300 S in Pangea Green and Contrast White Roof IG defender_japan "Hulk san" |

Well l guess there is some use for it then.
The headlights aren't as bright as the ones on our Jimny, those are incredible (for a small fairly cheap vehicle) Definitely the best headlights l've used. The worst were on my 1939 Morris 8, it was difficult to tell if they were actually on, in fact they had little tell tales on top of the lamp housings for that very reason. |

After I've switched the engine off and gone to open the rear door to get my dog out, the radio switches itself on, even if I wasn't using it beforehand. Current vehicle: 2020 Defender 110S

Well, my Defender did a software update yesterday and now, if you switch off the engine and stay in the vehicle, after a few minutes you get a message which says "vehicle will shut down in one minute"
And there's an option to "Delay" Pressing "Delay" the radio stays on. Currently sat here for twenty minutes having my lunch and the radio is still on. Maybe someone from Land Rover was reading my post about wanting the radio to stay on !! |

How good. What software version are you on now?
It will say in your Pivi Pro, last row. 22MY Defender 110 D300 S in Pangea Green and Contrast White Roof IG defender_japan "Hulk san" |
