There are a couple of companies that make and sell additional/ upgraded interior lighting for the inside of the boot/ tailgate and they add a spur onto the wiring looming using the existing connector - have a look at PowerfulUK’s website and the fitting video or maybe even contact Simon as that is the sort of challenge I’m sure he would take up. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed! |

Yes - powerfuluk do seem to have sveral options.
I need to look a little harder for the switched work light solution. For me I want a rear extenral light fitting, yes picking up a power feed from somewhere in the back. However I would like a switch somewhere in (inside) the back. Yes - might well give Simon a call - - - - |

Would be easy enough to run a feed from the battery under the seat I’d have thought, and mount a switch somewhere inside the rear door. The plate on the left where the suspension raise/lower buttons are would be a good spot - on mine there are some switch blanks there as it hasn’t got the deployable towbar.

If the work lamp is just for the rear boot area, look at one of these. Again from powerful, but simple plug-n-play. I fitted one in my boot in 15mins.

I am looking for a work light on the outside of the car. The Rigid DC Scene Light looks good but I wondered I anyone had allready has a proven solution for a work light.
