You might find that the wiring is already there. On mine it was routed down the driver side wing, near the top. Then down the side of the grille to the lights. Have a look, especially if they’re are cables connected to the back of the switch there is a good chance that the loom is already in.

I don’t think there is a standard LR loom. The ones I’ve seen/owned have looked hand crafted, and fitted a relay in the battery box.

The genuine switch is a push-button switch not a toggle switch, but I guess that's probably what you mean. There is unlikely to be any wiring already present IMO, I think if you bought a genuine driving light kit you'd get a largely-finished harness in the kit but I've never seen a genuine pre-manufactured harness available separately. It's not hard to make one up. |

I would guess almost any of the heated screen looms would work (but probably want smaller fuses for spots). wiring to the switch (plug in to yours), and a relay to locate somewhere with probably long enough wires to get power to the grill (if not then extend) but I'd be amazed if someone hadn't put together a specific kit

£275 for the harness! Wow, it is no surprise that it is not widely known about!

That not a bargain ! 🤔😯
You'll need a relay, some wire, a switch connector and some terminals for the LR switch, a fuse and holder and a couple of econoseal connectors to make a tidy connection at the lamp. Google spotlamp wiring diagrams, the net is awash with them. I'd be surprised if you spent more than £20 to do the job. Thanks all...
I'm not paying £150... In the same respect I'm colour blind so understanding wiring diagrams are a pain.. May enlist my 11 year Old son to help. Thanks all. |

Just a thought....
Can I use an amazon generic kit... and use the plug that goes in the back of my switch? So a kit like this Click image to enlarge Then cut the switch off and use this into the back of the oem switch? Click image to enlarge I still need to be able to do this but for £20 looks like it would do the same job? |
