The Ultimate Defender Accessory!!
This is a snow plough from UK Snow ploughs www.uksnowploughs.co.uk It isn't one made from tin like those typically found on ebay and is constructed from 4mm plate. There is a custom a-bar that fits any Non AC Defender and has 2 tow balls to attach the plough. A heavy duty ratchet strap can then be used to raise and lower the plough. It's simple to fit / remove and doesn't leave you with half a ton of hydraulics mounted to the front of your truck when not in use ![]() Has height adjustable wheels to set the height and a heavy duty replaceable rubber strip. Has 5 positions from straight ahead to out at an angle. It's in excellent condition having never been used in anger, and comes with the custom artwork!! For a couple of hundred quid, the manufacture can also supply the winch operating version of the mount. They retail for £1980. Asking £925. ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Last edited by camelman on 11th Apr 2022 10:13am. Edited 2 times in total |

1.97m wide, 0.6m high.
I'd put the weight at about 70kg but not sure. ![]() |

Would it be easy to modify for A/C'd Defenders or is it out of the equation, and are the tow balls mounted to the removable A-bar (don't like the look of tow balls on front bumpers)? Stuart

The tow balls are mounted to the A frame not the bumper. I think it would be easy enough to modify an AC A bar to add the plates to mount the tow balls.

Good Luck with the Sale camelman
Certainly good valve when compared with buying a 'fixed' set-up... (currently for sale at 33K) ![]() Click image to enlarge Oh to have the only Snow Plough in the Village... adds a whole other level to being a 4x4 Responder ![]() https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic83242.html |
