Bonjour,
![]() Some people have cleaned them but are not often very successful. For this reason most swap, this is why eventually I got a tune from Alive and got it shut off. It's expensive and a sod to change, and it will fail again and again and couple to that it isn't very effective reducing emissions and it's no good to the engine. |

hello, et bravo for the bonjour
![]() as i comment i'm in South america for almost one year, and i don't have in my road trip mecanicains who knows the car, my question is if i deconnect the electric connector, i'll get a light on dashbord, (till that point i understand) but i read in a site if i disconnect the electric connector, after a moment, i'll be in safe mode and only obd plug and default erase, will make the car back to normal., that's true? because if i get a safe mode and can run normally i'm stuck here. thanks for your answer, answer as clear as possible ![]() do i'll get stuck in safe mode if i disconnect electric plug? do i'll have any problem afterworks if i disconnect? thanks |

If you have EGR problems your only option is to change it, or tune and blank it.
Some have had sucess with just disconnecting it and blanking it but can be hit and miss. If it's faulty, it'll still causes issues. |
