My 2 week old Defender is the same, straight from the production line! I think Land Rover may need to invest in new alignment equipment.

You need to adjust the drag link from the steering box, this will alter the angle of the steering wheel in relation to the wheel position without altering any tracking settings. It won't need more than about half a turn I'd have thought.
Start by centring the steering wheel in the straight ahead position, there is space for a dowel pin to locate the drop arm if you want to be really precise. ![]() |

Mine was delivered new exactly the same. See my earlier post, it's an easy fix on the drag link adjustment.

It was indeed an easy fix, just needed a little brute force and WD-40 and the bar was free.. done the adjustment with about half a turn, well done Rickydodah.
