Hello, I kindly ask how many kilometers the service belt should be replaced on the 2008 Defender 2400 Puma ...........
Thanks

I think it is 120,000 miles or 10 years. I wouldn’t leave it that long personally. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

I am not sure if with 'cinghia dei servizi', he is referring to the serpentine belt that runs the alternator, water pump, vacuum pump etc, or if he is referring to the timing chain that drives the camshafts and high pressure fuel pump.

I guess it is the former, for which I would not worry a lot, it is easy to inspect, and in case of failure (assuming no tools or spare belt) would just leave you stranded with no big damage unless you continue driving and overheat the engine.

My Italian is a bit rusty, so google translate.

1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing
