Indicator cancelling prematurely due to rubber gaiter
Common problem: my indicator stalk cancels prematurely when indicating right. I'm 110% sure that it's due to the rubber gaiter/boot/grommet, since the stalk works perfectly when the gaiter is retracted.

Do you guys have any fix for this? I think it's because the gaiter is stretched when indicating right and essentially pulls the stalk back down.

Also, bending the stalk downwards didn't work for me - made no difference whatsoever Sad

Put a nick in the rubber where the stalk comes through, worked for me. ONE LIFE, GET IT!

have you had the steering wheel off lately? if so you may have not got the blue plastic cancelling strip at the right angle. Jeff

Yes I did, but I made sure the arrow on the ring pointed to the left (i.e. indicator stalk). It also works totally fine if the gaiter isn't hooked into the cowl.
