For 2014/16, 2.2 engine, oil needs to be low ash, due to the dpg. oil spec advised on this thread:

As above you need specialised low SAPs oil for the the 2.2 TDCI from MY2012 due to the DPF being fitted. I use Millers XF Longlife C1, it performs well and if you do a search on line you can get it at a reasonable price. If doing oil changes I would recommend genuine LR oil filters as well. |
