Stand alone battery trays for fitting battery to tub floor
I'm after adding more leisure battery capacity to the 110... have picked out some batteries but i'm only finding either a) plastic trays (not safe in an accident), or b) ruinously expensive Ally works of art for rally cars.

Anyone got a battery tray or hold down clamp that they rate? I was considering using the old single tray i took out of the battery box to fit my twin battery kit, but i've only got one of those, not 2. Very Happy

Gwyn lewis or Devon 4x4 both sell them, think Devon sell ones for single batteries as well which may suit your needs better 👍

The Devon one has sloping mounts from memory (should know as it’s what I’ve got fitted) Gwyn’s look to be adjustable.

Maybe mistaken though.

Thanks 👍

Ive got a gwyn tray in my seat box for the twin batteries but it just struck me for a flat floor I should be able to spend less than that... I guess I could mount the batteries on my false floor then do myself some holes and a bit of studding with a bar to hold them down.

I'd love to be able to lift them in and out easily so I guess plastic boxes are the super easy solution there but their crash performance really worries me. Battery would just go straight forward in an accident.

I guess carrying them around full time not a disaster. Makes mounting them easier.

Flatdog also have a battery tray ( for dual battery set-up) which is reasonably priced

This offering on ebay and Amazon also looks like it might do the trick

Give YRM a try, I've got their double battery tray and battery box set in my seat box. Battery tray is available in 5 different sizes.
