England 2008 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Zermatt Silver
Electronic CDL
Hi all,

Seen this advertised on ebay.

Just in the process of installing Ashcroft lockers and thought this might be a “cool” addition to have and also fill up a blank switch spot.

Just thinking it may just be another thing to go wrong.

Tbf not even sure it fits the Puma transfer box? I have a 2008 Puma does that still have the LT230 TRans box.

What’s your thoughts.

Yes, the Puma still uses the LT230 transfer box so there's no particular reason why it shouldn't fit.

Yes, it's something else that could go wrong.

I'm not sure that helps Confused Darren

I'll be having air controlled lo/hi and diff lock controls on my 130s box, but having seen the size of the pneumatic actuators they use I'd be concerned if that vacuum actuator would be up to the task - although I have absolutely no experience with them, so feel free to ignore everything I've just said Very Happy Stuart

As stated above, unless you use hi/lo/lock regularly and it moves nice and smoothly, I'd guess that would be underpowered.

Had to use the difflock for the first time recently; it was an absolute pig to get in and even worse to get out. 2011 CSW XS 90
