What about rims though... black, gold or limestone? James

Nice choice on the colour, it’s one of the best.

Straight piped too hopefully James, don't mess with my head like that I do like Sandglow an awful lot, I just find it a bit conservative. Plus, it's been done a few times on a 130. Bahama gold on the other, yet to see one... Watch me chicken out when the time comes Nah, just kidding, going with the gut despite never seeing one in the flesh. As for wheels, I'll be getting the current ones painted black to save me some money and spare me buying new rubber plus, as far as I'm aware their load rating will leave a nice amount of headroom with that 500kg lump in the front. I would have had these 18" x 8" Modular Steelies. Looked at getting them last year right before they went out of stock. Was told they'd be replenished in February but that's been pushed back even further now until June Unsure if I'd have those done to colour match though... Looks ace on a 90... 130+ inches of yellow might be a bit much though. Thoughts Click image to enlarge Later down the line though (year or two) once I'm happy with interior etc and when I can justify the expense I'll have a set of these in black with Bahama gold bead locker: Click image to enlarge I have dreamed of a set of these for some years now... almost too scared to let the world know of their existence in case somebody actually buys them for their Defender and I become disgustingly envious Stuart Cummins 130 Build Thread 58 130 Double Cab HCPU - Cairns Blue 04 110 Double Cab - Black (gone) 07 Audi RS4 Avant - Silver |

All sounds awesome! I didn't post the sandglow to try and change your mind on colour, but to show the sand glow/black combinations. Bahama gold is going to look great!! James

DPD chap arrived this morning bearing a gift to myself. Was great, and to mark the occasion he even took a photo of the box on the floor with my lower half adorning pyjamas and my favourite giraffe socks (tall person things) also in frame. Wish I could open the proof of delivery window again to share the pic cause it was a corker Also, don't judge, I was up until 2am on excel helping to get something done for another engineers project before this morning - best bit is, no overtime
So, the package! Click image to enlarge The Air Lift 3P pressure controller and manifold in 3/8" variety, for quicker air up/down time for the planned air suspension. Nicely packaged kit that includes pretty much everything I'll be needing with a great set of comprehensive instructions. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Best part of it all is that it can be controlled remotely via Bluetooth and an app on you phone It is also possible to add in height sensors should you wish with a separate kit (as this is just the pressure kit, hence P suffix) or by buying the Air Lift 3H kit which has them included. The bags I'm considering are from Firestone, 1T26D-7. Shocks I've already bought at an incredible price as some may have seen from the earlier eBay/bargain spot thread Click image to enlarge Going to probably add a set of limiting straps too before I do any serious off-roading to prevent the bags from unseating in the towers at high articulation. I've also been informed that the body and chassis will be separated in 11-12 days going by Stagshaw's packed diary. Then a few weeks following that I should be taking delivery of a near new P-pump 6BT, rebuilt ZF S5-42 transmission, and rebuilt and adapted LT230 transfer box all courteous of the main man, Reece, on the Cummins Land Rover FB group Stuart Cummins 130 Build Thread 58 130 Double Cab HCPU - Cairns Blue 04 110 Double Cab - Black (gone) 07 Audi RS4 Avant - Silver |
