Correct. Intended to be used only off-road and have a second set of 20' wheels for everyday use.

So are the Land Rover approved Duratracs, so I doubt that would be an issue. |

Why would a 100mph speed rating be of concern when our speed limit is 70mph?
I guess the exception may be if you go abroad I suppose, but generally speaking I don’t think many people would even contemplate over 80 in a Defender not to mention the legal ramifications that would entail too. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R 🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🇮🇪🇺🇸⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 |

I live close to the German border and their Autobahns . I'm going to try to do 119mph.
But not with offroad tyres. |

You're in the new defender section Significantly faster than our old tractors. |

I saw someone put Maxxis RAZR mud terrain 275/65/R18 on some TuffAnt 18” wheels without any lift or other modifications and they looked very good but not sure how they performed.

I’m planning on putting 275/65R18 Cooper Discoverer STT Pro mud terrains on my 90. I’ve run Maxxis mud terrains on my pick up and they are a good tyre but more aggressive then the Cooper. Noisy on road, but not unbearable and worth it when crossing muddy fields / forests and you don’t get stuck!!

Tom_T, its been mentioned before but the cooper STT PRO in that size, and many others, is only speed rated K (therefore legal) up to 68mph.

Will they fit on the LR steel wheels without rub or need of a lift rod kit? |

Ahh I thought they did a Q rated tyre but that only seems to be the 275/65R20 which I don’t think will fit as it’s 45mm bigger diameter than the 18” version. Back to the Maxxis I go then as they are Q rated!!! I genuinely don’t go more than 70 in my truck I tend to just sit at 60/65 in the inside lane and I’d do the same in my defender but I’d like a bit more comfort on the speed rating. Thanks for the tip 👍
