After 1h driving on the motorway on a snowy day, driver assist systems went down. Reason was snow collected by bumper. Same behaviour as compared to my previous car. Nothing to make me worry.

Sepp, the other place where there are sensors likely to get blocked by snow is the Land Rover Green Oval badge on the front grille - the sensor for the adaptive cruise control is behind it if you have ACC Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come

That’s why I won’t spec it - if you drive in snow it disengages because of “blocked sensor” warnings then you have no cruise at all, not even the basic one. There’s no way to over-ride it and have old style non-assisted cruise either. True but on a ploughed and gritted motorway in snow driving from London to Scotland it was a pain not to have it because the sensor gets blocked. On the disco, if you turn off the feature you then can run basic cruise... I had a temporary fault on a d5 one morning that I did that to get cruise back for the 100mile drive at restart fault cleared never came back.

I don’t have Adaptive Cruise on mine - wasn’t an option on D240 First Editions.
