Theres a little thermostatic switch on the element that switches the heat pads off when the temperature is reached.

No adjustment is possible unless you replace the thermistor with a higher temp setting. If you pull back the seat cover you will see it within the grid. I suppose you could remove the thermistor but you run the risk of overheating. Removing it means you control when it is on or off. If you do that and leave your truck running you risk a fire.
