So I have the plip I got with the car, then I brought one thats according to suppler (Rimmer brothers) for my car (2010 Defender) now with the nano com trying to program them, the original one the horn beeps as it should then the new one does not do anything, even after passing many times.
Then when I exit from the nano com by pressing OK I get an error that the changes failed to save, am I doing something wrong, or is this new plip bad and I need to get another one?
thanks in advance. Searching for my first Defender...and started just as Covid hit, so talk about timing.

So tried a coupe of times to redo this but kept failing.
Tried again today and have both plips programmed, followed same steps as before but this time ignition was on second position not just accessory that may of been it. Searching for my first Defender...and started just as Covid hit, so talk about timing.
5 months after starting the search I found it, and here is the details
