Nearly an expensive oops
Nearly had an expensive problem yesterday. Parked on a beach carpark (between low and high tide line) to go for a walk. Tide was going out. On return from walk, remote fob wouldn't work so I couldn't start the car! Luckily, I had a spare (uncoded) fob in the cubby box with a battery in so swapped it and it worked.
I had visions of trying to get recovered from down a very rough lane before the tide came back in.

So it was a fob battery issue?

Did you get the normal reminders of low fob battery (can't quite remember off the top of my head) ~ different indicator flashes on lock/unlock.

I think when the fob battery is low the indicators don't flash on unlock (or lock - I can't remember) 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon
