No jacking required. Unbolt old one, bolt on new one. 20 minute job.

This is on my job list too. Is the front arb equally straight forward ?

Yes, just make sure that you align the drop links correctly.

I remember vividly the 20 minute Lof master cylinder change that ended up taking me 2 days!! |

When I swapped the one on my 110 the lad from Alive said to make sure the vehicle was as level as possible front to rear and side to side. It took me 30 minutes being elderly. Don't make old people mad.
We don't like being old in the first place, so it doesn't take much to ![]() Richard |

Have you bought the Alive Eibach one Co1? If so, you won't believe how much difference it makes to the cornering on tarmac (and I mean that in a good way - it's brilliant).

I have indeed Joe! Looking forward to it. The fox/alive set up I have now is superb in a straight line but a big roly in the corners so if it’s as good as alive says it is, it should make quite a difference.

90 bloody minutes!! One of the bush bolts snapped. Drilled it out as best I could then snapped a tap in it! Can’t now drill it central
![]() Have a rotor broach at work so will have to borrow that. Arse. |

Guessing it's one of the bush bracket bolts under the fuel tank that's snapped? Depending on which one it is, you might be able to get to the captive nut with a cold chisel and smash the spot-welded captive nut off the inside face of the chassis member. I had exactly the same thing with mine. A few minutes with a cold chisel and lump hammer and it came off. Then just replaced with a washer and nyloc instead. Might be another option? 2005 Td5 | 90 Station Wagon | Tonga Green

I owe you a beer green machine!! Worked a treat. Couldn’t get at it with a chisel as it’s the rear most one, so did it with a punch from beneath instead. Took about 3 light whacks. Land Rover engineering at its best!!
