Easiest would be short Adel pop rivets and paint over it is a Land Rover after all!
Otherwise countersink and set a soft alloy solid rivet in place, rub down and surface finish the top & paint. HTH Keith |

TIG weld them. Have you seen the bonnet and holes? Most bonnet mounts also require some large holes so it may be more than just rivets.

Sorry I should've clarified, I want the one made to be fitted with a spare wheel carrier as I plan to fit one back to the bonnet so the holes for that are not a problem, just the tiny ones from the chequer plate as Id prefer the bonnet without it. 1999 Land Rover Defender 110 td5 station wagon

Ah, sorry, I misunderstood, it's the chequerplate holes!
I'd still try to TIG weld then grind smooth. |

A really low tech approach would be to glue (Sikaflex/Tigerseal) some small pieces of ali under each hole and then fill and paint. Darren

A very low tech aproach indeed, would there be the risk of them falling off with all the viabration and heating/cooling? 1999 Land Rover Defender 110 td5 station wagon

No, shouldn't do with one of those sorts of adhesives. Darren

Or a perfectly functional bush fix for someone who has neither the kit to TIG weld themselves or the opportunity/funds to take it to someone to weld it for them |
