Always nice to get away and enjoy the full setup. Looks a lot but setup is only an hour and similar to close down. I like the oztent quality and versatility.

She's still out earning her keep.
130 did a sterling job through shoot season transporting guns around a few days each week. Only hiccup was flat fob battery and leak on rear diff seal. Now out and about for maintenance on the pens and clearing some wind blown. Really pleased with how she has worked out. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Must get around to washing her, not since a pressure washer sin e Oct! Truck is still going strong. i have built and prepared training vehicles, greenlaners, punch hunt vehicles plus this 130 and throw in a dozen or so rechassis plus M57 re-engine along the way. So i have dabbled with a few
this 130 has so far proved to be the most versatile of all the vehicles i have run. So much so that its time to re-engine this one. M57 incoming! it will make it so much more comfortable towing and general usage the 2.4 just works too hard when shes loaded! i like the m57 refinement and reduced cabin noise too. going to go auto, ratios are pretty much the same as the mT82. will retain the current 1.3 tbox and see how it goes. Planned for early next year, just thinking about getting some parts together. Cheers James 110 2012 XS Utility 130 2011 M57 bespoke Camper 90 2010 Hardtop 90 M57 1988 Hardtop |

230hp sounds perfect, should be a lovely easy drive. I always used to hate autos but as I get older I begun liking the ease they give.
Is there options for 8 speed autos? 8 speed is out there, not sure it would give me much more than 6 would provide and it's more £££ Cheers

I guess I'm comparing a modern 8sp to a P38 4sp, but assumed the more the merrier. James

Yes a 8HP on the back of a late M57 is definitley a lovely combination with 1.003 transfer gearing it makes the old 6 speed ZF feel rather crude and the 8HP'S are super tough! |

An M57’d 130 is going to make for a real workhorse! I look forward to seeing the swap! Charlie
