They are a medium weight spring and lift it about 40 to 50 mm

I can't remember who it was but somenone did suggest that you could use the landrover HD springs which give you about an inch lift. Which I think is a cracking idea as long as it does not make the ride to hard.

The LR HD spring idea was probably me. I have done that and it works really well. You get a nice firm ride, great towing capacity, excellent control of the car and less body roll. The only thing I would say is that you might want to change the shocks to get the most of the car, for which I would recommend De Carbon as a general use one. I had them on my old off roading toy and they give a lovely ride quality.
I have a 110 double cab, so the rear sits high anyway with the XHD springs on which give you the 1 ton carrying capacity, so I did the fronts too as I have an ARB bumper fitted and they are heavy as heck. The front is now the same height as the rear and the ride and general drive is much better. The really nice thing is that is will not void any warranty and will also not mean a change to your insurance either. They are nicely priced too. I think with my discount I got the pair for £65, so you should be looking at less than £150 for the set. Landy nut |

Hi Sonic3d: Did you change the front/rear propshaft? I ask because of the known problem with vibration. cheers MK |

Both our 110's are fitted with 2" lift OME springs. The Utility has a HD wide angle front prop.
