110 Second row seats that tip/tumble?
Hi

Does anyone know of any second row 110 seats that can be tipped forwards, that also have headrests, that don't cost the earth?

I've currently got a set of Trakker (I think) rear seats with fixed headrests (on the older frames, not the 60/40 later style), however the seats can't be tipped forwards as the headrest hits the front seats. The headrests are screwed to the seat backs, so aren't removable.

It looks like the Exmoor Trim Classic range will tip forwards but not tumble fully, and the Premium ones will also tip but not tumble forwards.

Any other options, or is it DIY only?

Jon

Can you slide the front seats fully forwards and then tip the seats over and the slide the fronts back? 1999 Defender TD5 110

Some years ago I fitted high back individual seats to a TD5 110 using an Exmoor Trim recliner kit. As you've found, the seats wouldn't tumble forward as the backs were too tall but what it did allow you to do was recline the backs almost horizontally. Then, when the seats were tipped forward, they would go all the way over and the backs were left vertical up behind the front seats. It looked a bit strange but maximised the load space when required. Darren
