110 Rear Brake Pads Rattle - Solved
I fitted brake pad spring used in calipers of Lada 2101-2107 (Fiat 124) yesterday. This spring presses the pad down and thus prevents annoying clicks and rattle. The part number for the spring is 21010-3501035-00 (costs about 0.01GBP), I've ordered a complete set (p/n 21010-3501132-86, 1.8GBP), which also includes R-clips. Tested it on concrete slabs, gravel, and potholed asphalt - works fine, now the only audible sound from my vehicle is shock absorbers 'sniffing'. Whistle

Very nice. I too experience the 110 rear brake pad rattle so might go this route. Thumbs Up

For those that are interested these clips are made by all the major brake manufacturers:

Just a quick follow up on this 'modification'.

Ordered the parts from the ebay link posted back up thread. Unfortunately they never arrived and after jumping through a few hoops at the seller request (check at the sorting office, confirm posting address, etc) they eventually refunded my £8.36 today. I now need to order the parts again from a different seller...... Rolling Eyes

Only wasted a month!

Great tip, thanks a lot!
Is there a spring kit for the TDCi front break pads as well?

I have done this mod on the rear and it works perfectly. No clattery pad noise.

So simple Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Indeed, you´re right! It seems that Mr. previous owner "forgot" to reinstall them.
The springs are LR009769 and pretty pricey. Maybe there is an alternative way to find them.
