Just a quick follow up on this 'modification'.
Ordered the parts from the ebay link posted back up thread. Unfortunately they never arrived and after jumping through a few hoops at the seller request (check at the sorting office, confirm posting address, etc) they eventually refunded my £8.36 today. I now need to order the parts again from a different seller...... Only wasted a month! |

The fronts have spring clips as standard > 110 XS Double Cab |

I have done this mod on the rear and it works perfectly. No clattery pad noise.

Indeed, you´re right! It seems that Mr. previous owner "forgot" to reinstall them. The springs are LR009769 and pretty pricey. Maybe there is an alternative way to find them. Greetings, Defender 110 TD5 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 |
