United Kingdom 2007 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Tonga Green
Engine size doesn't really worry me - after all Mitsubishi get a reliable 403bhp/355lbs-ft from a two litre four pot unit.

Different sort of engine of course but still plenty pokey enough.

Many have got a good 300++bhp out of the VAG 1.8T unit too.

For diesels, BMW get a nice 200++ bhp out of the 123d unit - a two litre bi-turbo 2.0 litre unit. Loads of torque too. Defender 110XS SW gone... now VW California 180 4 Motion.

Gotta agree the 123d engine is fab in the X1 Embarassed (least the Aux heater is standard and works)
