Try unplugging the tow bar electrics under the right rear wing behind the rear lights, it's a grey plug. Ray

Hi Ray,
Thank for your reply, could it be that someone soldered it instead of the plug? This is what i am seeing! ![]() Click image to enlarge |

If you follow the wires from the back of the tow electrics up behind the plastic shield you should find the plug, directly behind the light panel. Ray

Trying this is just to rule out any damp or corrosion in the tow electrics so if it doesn't solve the problem then just plug it back in.

Unfortunately they go directly from the towing connecto to the displayed wire harness.
There is no connector to be found ![]() |

In that case try cleaning out the tow socket and see if it make a difference. Ray

As the wiring looks like it's been wrapped in insulation tape it may be worth thoroughly checking it for splits and maybe moving the tow electric loom about (bending here and there ) to see if it cures your problem. If it does it could suggest broken or touching wires in the wrapped loom. Ray

IT would be worth checking the indicator bulb holders for moisture and corrosion too. Ray

Already checked 3 of them, seem to be okay.
Else the fuse would blow too with the hazard lights on right? |
