I was putting the new injector seal kit into the injector base and the copper ring fell into a hole between the two injectors. I cant seem to find it. Will I have to take the head off? Very Frustrated!!!

Long needle nose pliers and take the rest out you should be able to get it. You can try a clump of sticky grease on a bit of bent wire to pick it up, just clean up after.

My laptop is in Work with all my diagnostic gear and manuals, if you look in the manual it’ll give you a water and oil flow diagram. I’m not sure where you mean it’s fallen exactly, but the head is in two parts head and cam carrier.
Reason I say check the injector port as I’ve dropped them before and 9 times out of 10 it falls back into the injector socket, can be quite hard to tell if there’s oil and carbon build up. |

Try a bit of wire fishing in the hole

It's the hole between the injectors.. I tried fishing it out with a wire... I had it.. Then it dropped again. I don't know how deep it dropped this time

I'd hope there is lip in the injector hole to stop the washer dropping through any further. 1999 Defender TD5 110
