Agreed value policies are good for peace of mind, however, be aware that while some insurers such as Flux only require a set of recent photos some will ask for a detailed written report from either a specialist Land Rover Garage or from a Land Rover club who offers this type of valuation service. I have an agreed valuation from A plan who required a detailed report which cost me £125.00, the valuation does last for three years though.
Also, some insurers will only give an agreed valuation on what they call a Classic Car policy, this always tends to be more expensive and will not include any no claims discount, nor will you gain any no claims bonus during the lifetime of the policy. hope this helps... Thanks Gilarion. Interesting point about NCB. Don't get me started on how much of a scam that whole system is! 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS
