waterproof 2 pin connectors - advice requested
Hi all,

I need to add a waterproof connection to the roof of my 110 to allow removal and refitting of my solar panel. I have seen deutsch conectors but have no idea which size, which crimping tool etc. Anyone connected up external stuff like this before? I reckon the cables are too small for an anderson plug.

Anderson SB connector smallest is rated at 50 amps for 6mm2 cable

Deutsch connectors are rated at 13 amps and 0.5-1.5mm2 cable

Large superseal connectors are rated at 20 amps.

Now solar panel may be rated at 180 watts but what is voltage output? To charge 12 volt battery you will need a bare minimum of 12.6 volts up to 14.6 volts.
