Justgo very easy with the bulbs and don't put too much pressure on them.

a couple of bits of rubber hose pushed over some circlip pliers works well. But so long as they're not hot you can normally pull them out with your fingers.

How do you get the front of the instrument panel off? I've removed the two torx screws but it still seems firmly attached and I'm reluctant to try prising it off in case I break something expensive!

take the radio out, remove the two torx screws then give it a good pull. (it's retained by some spring clips.)

Just sorted mine - thank you for the helpful advice. Three out of four bulbs had blown (after ยฃ70k miles / 6 years) and weโre replaced so the controls should be easier to find at night now!
