Intercooler refit - correct installation question
.......Or where have I messed up..?

Finally refitting intercooler last night after flushing/cleaning a week ago..
However, I’m suffering memory failure, and am struggling with the exact location of the diagonal support struts which I took out and repainted. I’m sure they fit from bottom bracket to by the bonnet latch? But are right up against and touching the intercooler top housing when I place them.

Thanks for any pointers- need to get it all back together today, though shouldn’t take more than 10 minutes....

they do go there, is it std width intercooler?

not sure if they go inside or outside from memory. you may find if you have the top slam panel out or loose it will come in together when that goes back on without touching.

i have had to space out some brackets at the bottom to miss 'extra' thick intercoolers before. Cheers

I’ll try a loose fit assembly, as you suggest. Hopefully will become clear.l....
