Living here as I do, I'll be perfectly happy to admit that Mrs Grenadier and I would be more than happy if ALL skiers chose to ski elsewhere with their kids and leave our beautiful resort alone.
We've skied much of Canada, plus US, AUS, NZ, Norway etc. Not a fan of the Intra-Disney-West resorts and these days our only reason to venture behind the accessibility of Europe would be back-country and ski touring; Western Europe is sadly devoid of real wilderness, Norway an obvious exception. But personally, not a fan of the character of many US or Can resorts. If it's JUST for the skiing, fine, but if it's for a whole holiday experience I don't think they come close to the better European resorts. Although Mrs Grenadier would tell you I'm not averse to eating Burgers, Steaks and Nachos every day of the week. As for Mont Tremblant? All I can say is that it's lucky we were primarily in the region to see friends in Toronto or Montreal, as it's a plastic looking resort, with a bump of a hill and almost no runs. Also it was colder than some of the Arctic warfare training I've been on. Never again. You can't go wrong with St Gervais (just leave the kids at home ) Monsieur Le Grenadier I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list..... 2011 Puma 110DC - Corris Grey |

Thank you all! I'll respond fully when I've had time to digest!!
In the meantime, I was, however, hoping to get at least some replies suggesting to forget skiing and invest in another LR!
