Velar or Ewok???

How can this happen when modern vehicles have warning noises or lights to tell you the most basic things like lights on when you open the door or start inhibitors when in gear, etc. surely transporters like these have systems to prevent inadvertent damage caused by failing to lower or lock decks?

I am surprised that the roof came off so completely and neatly unless it was actually a convertible to start with. I accept that it was probably a fairly massive impact but to my mind it displays a worrying lack of strength in the upper body.

At least it looks a little bit different from every other new Landrover vehicle now!
