I like those - I think JLR have something similar as an option for the FFRR. Actually not that expensive - £174.22 exc. VAT https://www.johncraddockltd.co.uk/accessor...010-m.html |

Those 110Technik sliders are really nice, but no good as a step for the shorter ones.
Have to agree the ones I like most are the all black fire 🔥 and ice. Hi there, what are these side-steps? I quite like them, but couldn't work out from the thread where to get them? Thanks Nick |

If I remember correctly, I bought mine from a chap off ebay that makes them, here’s a link: https://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/LAND-ROVER-DEFEND...SwzJ5XU2N7
Not sure if it’s the same seller or not as I bought mine a few years back, but the pictures are definitely the same. |

Thanks all
I'm thinking the black Fire & Ice as the kids and myself if I'm honest like the step they offer |

As usual, all comes down to personal taste, I personally would go for the "Fire and Ice"

Safari Equip did a special for me --their tube side step, galvanised, fitted with curved tread plate and the whole black coated. Well priced and the black coating is very durable. very happy with them

Has anyone used these Fire & Ice Style steps from SideStepsUK/Quicktread? They are made in UK (good thing?) and can be zinc coated prior to powder coat which seems good?

^ Just looking at these myself...
£331 for the 110 Are they that much different than these? https://www.mm-4x4.com/defender-110---fire...5590-p.asp or many others around the same price they all say fire & Ice 'style' even with the zinc coating the guarantee is only 12 months on any? |

My 8 year old 110 is also in need of some pretty side steps.
Like others, I think I like the black fire and ice ones best. There are many copies out there, but some are the narrow single bolt at front and rear fixing. My originals are a wide - from memory about 5 or 6 inches, 2 bolt fixing at front and at rear. Many advertisers say similar to LR008375, and have photos, but it isn't always clear what exactly they are selling, or they don't show the mounts. So, I will carry on looking at the posts on here. By the way I did think the wider steps (stacey007) had looked ok until I saw the mounts - that's just mad not mounting as original and no support struts? If anyone happens to know of fire and ice style dropped 1" and 1\2" further out, so my passengers don't keep kicking the body work that would be good. And if they were stainless or galvanized and painted instead of that powder coat crap that would be excellent! |
