I personally cant see the attraction of a memory preset. I prefer just the simple on/off and speed up/slow down and resume buttons.
But it is entirely personal preference. My 90 Project : http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic52774.html |

Personal preference Either way, a very worth addition to a Defender. My 90 Project : http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic52774.html |

Hi
I know every insurance company is different, but has anyone declared this mod and had a significant impact on the policy cost? I also asked about how the presets work with this reply - ''The pre-sets are settable at any speed above 20mph and can be overwritten at any time the speeds are also settable for the limiter function and will again be what you set and not the same as the cruise pre-sets'' Helpful service and response to my question 2010 XS USW 1957 Series One 88 diesel 1958 Series One 88 4x2 |

Yes of course and it made no difference as it doesn’t add to performance (Adrian flux) My 90 Project : http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic52774.html

Hi
It was and yes I am. They were helpful in answering my questions and seem to know their business, I quite like the idea of the speed limiter as an option as well as cruise. Cost seem to be pretty much the same now, about £500 fitted from what I have found. I am not confident to DIY this as I would want to be assured it was all working correctly and having it fitted professionally would offer me that re assurance. I will probably get this done after Easter. 2010 XS USW 1957 Series One 88 diesel 1958 Series One 88 4x2 |

Are you going for this one?
Conrad Anderson I'm very tempted and with another road trip to Europe in Summer could be the push I need to get it sorted |

I’ve just acquired a 2016 HT 2.2 with the Conrad Anderson CC fitted and I’m well impressed with it. I find that on long journeys I tend to get uncomfortable holding the accelerator pedal over long periods of time and this will definitely be a benefit. Also, a great help in those average speed monitored areas. 2015 90 Hard Top

capnjapseye - which command module/stalk have you got fitted?
Could you post some photos of it and comment on the ergonomics, quality of fit & feel? |

Thanks - I was just looking for photos of an actual installation in a defender rather than generic shots of the unit.

Not much to see really, the stalk on mine is mounted on the RHS of the steering column, where the grommet is in the column shroud 2015 90 Hard Top
