1 touch indicator mod
Hello,

Does anybody have experience of this modification from pace4x4?

One touch indicator upgrade

I consider it because I use my LR on the autoroute each day and look like is a lazy but nice mod for change lanes. Not sure how it to do this without change stalk.

Combine with cruise control and noise deadening I think Defender becomes very acceptable for autoroute.

Hi,

I don't have any experience with this kit I'm afraid but I have made similar little boards up like this before for other vehicles. Reference how to do it without changing the indicator stalk, it would be a simple matter of using a timer circuit to either leave the indicator on for a set period of time for the main relay to do three on/offs or the circuit could switch the indicator signal itself on and off three times. You just program it to do three flashes if the stalk signal is shorter than, say, 1 second.

Certainly possible Thumbs Up

I would've liked to have seen the actual board potted in a nice little box to protect it though rather than just being heat shrunk with fly leads coming out of it. Would be worth going to an electronics shop and buying it a little box to go in and some potting compound to set it in, stop any corrosion or vibration damage issues.
