Help please DCPU rear bulkhead stiffner part number.
Hi folks.
I have a 110 DCPU which I am rebuilding. I have replaced the rear bulkhead behind the rear seats . Part number ABB710040
On the old panel there is a stifner bar which runs the full length of the panel.
I cannot find it in any parts manual. Even more concerning neither can Land Rover. Wonder if anyone has any info on this part. I would make one but its a relativly complicated shape. A similiar part is fitted to the 90 rear bulkheads too.

Thanks

Rod.

The bar can be seen in this attached picture running the full length of the panel around half way up.
Thanks

They may have it just listed as something else! I found that when buying a few door repair bits.

Does it have to be the correct, genuine stiffener? You could easily get hold of an extruded aluminium angle section and use that if you weren't too fussed about originality.

On a different but related subject, does anyone know why 90s and 110 DCs have the two removable panels in the lower part of this bulkhead (they can clearly be seen in the photo above, below the stiffener)? The look like access panels but I have never figured out what they are there for.

I've always wondered that. too. Given their position, I wondered if it was something to do with early seat belt anchor points that's just never been deleted. Darren

Blackwolf.
Thanks for the reply.
The piece sits right where the bulkhead changes angle. So it is very unique. My goal is keeping as orignal as possible. My last resort would be chequered plate on the outside of the panel to beef it up a bit. The rest of the load space is chequered anyway. Tbh i would prefer not but it would be an option.

As for the holes. No idea either lol
Cheers.

Mk1 vw caddys also have two removable plates in a very similar position so I'm guessing for either moving around during assembly or for welding during assembly. Ray
