Another weekend down and a load more work done;
Had loads of parcels arrive this week so have been working hard on rebuilding Buggsy, I started off with the fitting of crystal headlights and the new Halfords 150% brighter bulbs.  Click image to enlarge Definitely needed the new headlight rings 
Whilst the headlight surrounds were off I added a little paint just to make them look a little bit more respectable; Click image to enlarge Since owning Buggsy the drives door hinge decided to fail causing the door to drop too far for even defender tolerances so a new set was ordered, with only one bolt needing to be drilled out it was an easy job. The dash is going back together and should be finished this week once a few bits from mud arrive, rude not to take advantage of the sale 
The engine has been run up to temp and all seems good apart from what seems to be a small weep on the heater matrix. Oh Na it’s my trailer, I’ve had the winch siting in the strap box for months and after a few too many times ratchet strapping dead vehicles onto it (Buggsy being one) and having another wagon to collect tomorrow I finally got around to fitting it. 90 wolf - Jasmin http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic39408.html

Very true Clayton.
So small update to day, have done a few bits but lack of pics means I will wait to write them up. Since getting the engine in and running upto temp I noticed a coolant leak from the heater matrix, so onto the internet and a few days later I had a new matrix to fit, I couldn’t justify the price difference between a normal one and the upgraded one from alisport so a normal one will go back in. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge With the heater box removed I noticed some surface rust so whilst it’s out I might as well treat it, I have been using neutrarust and it’s great stuff, apparently it can even be used underwater so perfect for Defenders so once this sets it will be prime,paint and refit.
