2011 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 ST Santorini Black
millennium baby heritage collected today
An early 5:00 am start this morning to collect my new project. A 200 mile journey to Essex to collect Hetty. I gambled again and did the deal over the phone yet again buying blind. I found her on carandclassic.co.uk .
First inspections she has the typical corrosion of this vintage with bubbling paint, rusty hinges, oxidised screen blocks, sagging head lining etc. She's still shod on the factory supplied bfg's 265's from that era with spare never been on.
After collection it was a 5 minutes drive to have breakfast with friends before heading back to the m25 and m1.
Puma performed faultless.

Sweet. Always had a bit of a soft spot for these. Are you going for an authentic resto? Or bit of a restomod? Look forward to hearing your plans for it Thumbs Up 2005 Td5 | 90 Station Wagon | Tonga Green

My back is absolutely killing after yesterday's drive.
I'm hoping to strip most of the interior today in order to deep clean. Brought one of the
seat bases into the house last night to make a start on the leather which was a feature of the Heritage. My wife wasn't impressed but I thought it was a reasonable compromise so she wasn't sat on her own on a Saturday night Rolling with laughter

Features of a td5 heritage
Bronze green or Atlantic green
Retro badging front and rear
Heritage specific grill
Colour coded mirrors and headlamp surrounds
Sunhatch in white roof
Colour coded tornado alloys
Silver hinges to doors and bonnet
Silver side steps
Green leather seats Inc middle seat
Alloy gear knob
Ivory cream instrument dials with chrome surrounds

I'll be going for the original look. With only 150 90's produced they are rarer than a 50th but not as individual.

BTW, Is your sore back from the 400 mile drive in your Defender, or another war wound!

Do you have extension seat rails, standard seats? YOLO... You Only Live Once...
