The bronze green appears different shades depending on the light reflection.
Are the silver bits a true silver or just grey. Mine are quite weathered and it's difficult to say? Anybody know the bronze green paint code. There is nothing stamped on the vin plate. |

LRC001 according to Paintman
![]() I've used Paintaman paint and also some made to the same code at my local supplier and the the local supplier was a better match... 1993 200Tdi Defender 90 |

I would agree to get a local paint supplier to match an un-weathered part of the interior bodywork.
Paintman once supplied me with Mid Grey that didn't match my One Ten at all. If I remember correctly the Heritage was one of Land Rover's first forays into water-based paint, and I don't think it was entirely successful. At least one of my panels was a slightly different shade of green to the others (and it hadn't been replaced). I was hoping my pics might help on the colour of the faux galvanise, but I imagine it will have its own paint code and not be either silver or grey. |

Spent a good few hours trying to put some life back into the paint work and finally managing to get a shine. Rotary polisher with G3, clay bar and wax

It's all original paint but is bubbling in various places. Rear door is beyond salvage as are the windscreen blocks.
It's a bit tight into the garage Ray ![]() |
