Well, I have swapped the BFGs on to the Boosts; the only problem I now have is that the spare will not fit on the rear-door mount without resting against the rear wiper. Are there any solutions to this without welding on an extension to each of the bolts? Would a simple M12 washer or two do the job and be safe enough?

You should be able to space the wheel out with washers safely that's what I did to fit my 285s 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon
