Jittery ride

My 2005 TD5 90 is a bit jittery at speeds above 50. I.e. the steering wheel shakes slightly. And the ride is choppy and can feel all the bumps in the roads.
Have just put a new steering damper on and this has made a slight improvement.

Would this be down to shocks or springs or both and or bushes ?

Its shod with BFG A/T's on Wolf rims.

Advice welcome, from others who have a more pleasant on road ride.

Simple question but have you had your wheels and tyre's balanced and aligned when fitted?

The above, plus the drop arm joint. These go wobbly quite frequently.

Wheels balanced, even tried backs on front. Wheel nuts are tight.

My other 90 is seriously modifed 3" lift rear with 11" drop out OME with Gwyn Lewis add ons and OME front 2" lift, orange polybushed RR 300TDI Auto pump turn up full, with 8274 up front D44 bumper and skid plate, with spare on bonnet, so yes its a tad different.

I reckon its the OMG standard shocks.

Took truck down to a mate's garage, and checked out the obvious - shocks springs bushes steering etc . One thing he did notice was the slightly rounded wear of the front tyres. From memory this can be caused by mis inflation of the pressures. Swapped for rears, although the suspension is still as crashy as ever, the vibration through the steering wheel has diminished significantly over 50 mph, and can now get up to 80 no problems.
