Torque sticks.
Hi , following on from the thread on impact guns, I have been looking into torque limited extension bars or torque sticks. I understand that evidently they are potentially not as accurate as a proper torque wrench but as a simple means of not over doing wheel nuts they seem to have merit, especially if a lower value is used and then finished with a click wrench. If you use them which do you have and why? Thanks in advance. Rhubarb and custard let fly with their secret weapon.

I bought a cheap Silverline (i know Neutral ) torque wrench? Goes to 230nm and I use it for my wheel nuts often, works perfectly.

I have a selection of torque wrenches from 1/4 to 1/2 square drive and will be using them for finishing the nuts when the wheels are on the ground. Having now got a fairly potent mini impact gun I don't want to over fasten the wheel nuts with it and then click them with the hand wrench as that will only tell me they are at the minimum of the value i wind into the handle not if they are already tighter than that value. Hence why the torque sticks to limit the gun to a lower figure and then click them snug manually. I am just wondering which ones to buy as a high price is not always indicative of high quality. Rhubarb and custard let fly with their secret weapon.

Sealy are a decent brand, £15 for one.
