I know the redbooster is an option but don't want to throw £375. When I search the net found that there are some other economical ways to ease the clutch pedal pressure in defenders but I really don't know the compatibility with puma as they have been used with 200tdi and 300tdi or td5. According to forums, defender v8 slave cylinder is an option but don't know the compatibility with puma. And other method is to use Lockheed LE72696 brake servo again don't know the compatibility with puma.

Hi Supacat, I don't mind whether its a standard part or a non LR part as long as its a reliable way of easing the clutch pedal. This picture was one of my mates puma easy clutch modification which i have posted couple of months ago. It seems its a non puma master clutch fitted with T junction such that the clutch sensor still works. Sorry I'm not sure I made myself clear - is your issue a result of a poor/damaged setup; or does it work perfectly but is just too stiff for you?
Every puma I've driven has not had what I would remotely describe as a stiff clutch; but my girlfriend might say differently. |

Well my clutch works perfectly alright but as every other defender the clutch is generally stiff. I have been living with it now more than 5 years and thought it's the right time to give my left leg a "rest".
