Tdci running rough and cutting out.
I have a 2007 tdci 90. This morning I set off at about 5.30am. Got to the end of our lane and the engine ran rough for about 5 seconds and then cut out. It restarted first turn of the key and I proceeded to do a journey of about 120 miles without any problems. Anybody out there have any idea of what the problem is / was?

PS
Temperature was below zero with a fair old frost.

If the engine started may be the glow plugs are OK,

IMHO a little be of Diesel paraffine due to the below zero T°, Are you using artic fuel (Diesel with additives for low temps). Discovery 5 td6 HSE Stornoway Gray Outback Engineering Limited Edition
