Thanks for the pic, much appreciated Looking at the pic, the roof certainly needs our time to sort it out as it's not looking to good at the moment 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up. Keeper. Clayton. |

Owning a thatched property in my view is no different, yes there are a few things to look out for, but it's all common sense really 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up. Keeper. Clayton. |

An update on the score hut.
Nearly 2 weeks ago we started this and we have had mostly good weather but the Thursday and Friday after we started we had strong winds and rain for both those days and we could not do any work at all and then on the following Monday the showers were to frequent so we could not take the sheet off as the the electric's for the score board are all in side, so on the Tuesday we made a start, only to be stopped again by continues rain so we sheeted down and then spent the rest of the afternoon in the rain clearing the pitch of reed rubbish that the strong winds had blown over it we had to do this as they were having a match the next day Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge The match, the next day, i was watching while eating my lunch Click image to enlarge on the same day, the marines were active picture quality not so good, going to get the men Click image to enlarge recovered Click image to enlarge so on to today and we finished the score hut Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Very pleased with the finished roof The next 2 pic's are of the main building and we are re-ridging and dressing all of the roof next year as it's a special year for the club, it will be the 200th anniversary back Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up. Great photos Clayton
Never much of a cricket fan myself, but i do like their scoreboard building. Very smart. As you said, must be unique? Be good to see the main building spruced up for their anniversary. |
