110 Puma P38 rear diff.
So after having a few issues with Land rover service & warranty the 110 is back with us, they have changed the rear diff seal under warranty. Before it went I removed the diff guard to make it more straight forward for them to do & now have gone to put the guard back on & found one of the 10' crown wheel nuts stripped! ( Stud looks fine)Have a look but can't find a part number for these, anyone know? Also am I right in thinking 60nm torque?

Do you mean the nuts that hold the diff carrier into the axle casing? If so they're just standard 3/8" UNF nyloc nuts.

The crown wheel is inside the diff and I can't see how you would be in there just fitting a guard on?

Sorry for the incorrect terminology, there's 10 studs that come out of the diff casing that attach to the prop ( which In turn secure the wild bear diff guard three at the bottom & two on the top)
