Sounds a great project, it's going to be awesome! Could send it to Cool N Vintage, their works is spectacular but Portugal maybe a little too far? https://www.coolnvintage.com/
Could try John Brooks at Cult 4x4 Framlingham, Suffolk be right up his street ![]() MY2012 110 2.2TDCi XS SW Orkney Grey - http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic43410.html MY1990 110 200TDi SW beautifully faded Portofino Red - https://www.defender2.net/forum/post743641.html#743641 MY1984 90 V8 Slate Grey - https://www.defender2.net/forum/post744557.html#744557 Instagram @suffolk_rovers |

More of the car as is currently

Lovely looking Series 2a, I've got a 1966 Series 2a.
![]() Re the heavy duty galvanized hood sticks/roll bar, the Land Rover pictured belongs to a friend of mine. I've travelled in the Land Rover on a number of occasions and it is a very good piece of kit, definitely worth the money in my opinion. From memory, I believe it was a custom made job, rather than off the shelf. If you have any questions about it, I can ask for you. ![]() ![]() |

Thanks for that mini anaconda
He does them standard now for £522 which I think is far better value than an exmoor seat belt hoop / bar plus hood stivks |
